Yesterday I went to my kickboxing class, and in walks not only Aerobics Guy, but Aerobics Son (See "Aerobics Guy" post if you are confused or haven't read it). This father and son outing was not your typical male outing. [Once again, they are surrounded by women] Now Aerobics Son looks almost identical to dad, with more hair. Son's height, weight, workout attire and glasses are the same as Dad. Although I'd have to say that his knee caps are more defined and protruding, at times I thought they might snap during the side kicks.
I really didn't mind when they stood right next to me. There were a few times when the flailing air punches and kicks got close to me; several times I almost had to duck. [My recently developed "lightning fast kickboxing reflexes" helped me dodge these] I will have to admit, however, that standing next to the pair was distracting. Once I realized that they go left when she said right, and right when she said left, I was able to focus on my own moves.
When the drips of Sweating Son began to drip on me, I started to get annoyed. Just the idea of his body fluid on my skin [that was not mine] added a major distraction to my workout. Nevertheless, I did try ever so hard to not think about diseases like hepatitis from the contact of body fluids, but once I get a distracting thought in my head, it is hard for me to think of anything else. [I am sure the other kickboxing women were enjoying my facial expressions. Most people know I have many of these]
After about a half an hour, the workout got to Son; his body couldn't take it. He had another uncontrollable body function explode as he did a squat. As an "exercise endues" asthma sufferer; I gasped, choked, and almost hurled.
What more can I say------

Kind of like the father/son combo that was at the BYU bowling alley. He kept yelling at my kids for touching the shoelaces on his shoes that were sitting on the floor. I'm pretty sure they were training for the Olympics...either that or they have serious problems.
ha ha. Ok this is serious, I am not leaving another comment until you do the TAG sista.
Or kinda of like the Father/Son;Mother/Daughter; Husband/Wife; Grandpa/Grandson ropes courses we have at family reunions.... Okay, those really are fun. Good memories of the teamwork between Brooke and Kreg or the Ross and Joyce team
What about the "lazers" set up in the middle of the woods at the cabin. :) You gotta talk Nykelle into blogging so we can see and hear about life in AZ.
